Create a bespoke lifting station with SFA Saniflo
Two Sanifos 1600 underground pump stations have been supplied to Uisce Éireann as part of its €25m investment to modernise and upgrade its wastewater treatment plant in Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan. Benefitting homes and businesses in the town, the upgrade ensures all wastewater is treated appropriately and will serve a population equivalent of 5,200.
Veolia specified the Sanifos 1600 after undergoing a vigorous vetting process with Saniflo to ensure its stations were of high quality.
The Sanifos 1600 underground sewage lifting station is available with different configurations, which can selected by engineers or via Saniflo’s own advisory service.
Both merchants selected the Sanifos 1600 2 D GR ZFS71.1S, a cast-iron grinder pump with pre-installed accessories including valves and pipework.
By improving the town’s wastewater capacity, the plant upgrade will allow for current and future population growth and support its social and economic development. It will also enhance water quality and the integrity of receiving waters, benefitting fishing and other water sports.
The works will ensure the treatment of wastewater is fully compliant with EU Urban Wastewater Treatment Directives and Wastewater Discharge Licence Emission Limit Values and will eliminate all non-compliant combined sewer overflows from the treatment plant.
